Condition of Entry for the Art Trails Tasmania Art Exhibition

Here are the Conditions of Entry for the 2024 Art Trails Tasmania Art Exhibition:

• Works must be either inspired, reference or reflect Tasmania.
• Open to Australian based entries only because of postage.
• Members’ Entry is $12 per entry or $30 for 3 entries by 6 October 2024.
• Non-Member Early bird Entry is $15 per entry or $40 for 3 entries payment received by 30 June 2024.
• Non-Members entry is $17 per entry or $45 for 3 entries for payment received 1 July to 6 October 2024
• Works will only be accepted with a signed entry form and recognisable referenced payment.
• Limit of three works per artist.
• Maximum framed size is 45cm x 45cm and maximum weight for sculpture is 5 kg.
• All sections are open to anyone over 18 years old.
• Entries must be the original work of the exhibitor, no copies or works from workshops will be accepted.
• Entries must have a photo of each work and they may be used for online promoting of your involvement in the exhibition.
• An artist statement may to accompany entries and it may be used for online promoting of your involvement in the exhibition.
• Entries must consider one of the themes of Waters of Life, Mountain Inspirations, Wildlife Wonders or Vibrant Communities in your choice of medium.
• All work must have been completed from 2020 to 2024.
• Art Trails Tasmania and the exhibiting venues Poatina Tree Art Gallery, Sheffield Art Gallery, Jane Seychell Gallery, Makers @ the Courthouse, The Kitchen Collective will not be responsible for the loss, damage or insurance of exhibits. Care will be taken of all works.
• Art Trails Tasmania  (ATT) reserves the right to have any entry reproduced for promotional purposes in all media.
• Works must be suitably framed or on deep edged canvas or art board, ready for hanging with ‘D’ rings, labelled with name, theme, medium, title of work and sale price.
• Art Trails Tasmania will hang at their discretion. Decisions are binding. Entry fees will be refunded in full for any declined entries.
• Art Trails Tasmania will hang works in exhibition venue of their descretion.
• 50% refund for change of mind entries until 6th October. After this date there are no refunds for accepted works.
• All work must be for sale. Commission of 27.5% will be retained on work sold.
• No late entries will be accepted.
• All works must remain on display until after the close of the Exhibition 1.30pm Sunday November 24, 2024 at Poatina Tree Art Gallery, Sheffield Art Gallery, Makers @ the Courthouse, The Kitchen Collective unless agreed upon with the gallery owner. Pick up 1.30 pm – 3.30 pm. And at Jane Seychell Gallery after the close of the Exhibition 1.30pm Sunday November 3, 2024.
