Throughout the workshop, you’ll be encouraged to ask questions, experiment with settings and learn through doing.
Working with your own camera, conversations unfold gradually with the aim of helping you to make sense of core photography principles and how they apply specifically to photographing birds.
You’ll be guided through photography concepts including camera navigation, shooting modes and key exposure settings, all explained clearly and in context.
As the session progresses, you’ll explore how you can apply these foundations to common bird photography situations such as perched birds, birds in flight and changing light conditions. The aim is to help you move toward photographing birds with greater intention and confidence. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have built your knowledge and gained hands-on experience, ready to continue practising and developing your skills in the field.
Workshop Supplies
Participants need to bring their own camera to this workshop.
