Art Studio and Sculpture Garden
I’ve worked privately and quietly out of my home art studios (at various homes) for many years, however since recently moving to Campbell Town (Tasmania).
I have been working on renovating and building parts of my new Art Studio and Sculpture Garden ready to open up my doors for more public open days and classes.
Be Part of the Australian Ceramics Open Studios Event
I’m looking forward to opening my doors to you for the very first time for my Grand Studio Opening, which coincides with the Australian Ceramics Open Studios nationwide event – with ceramic artists opening their studios all around the country on this weekend (11 & 12 Nov).
A Studio within a Scultpure Garden
On the day you’ll park your vehicle outside my home and walk up the driveway and towards my handmade Sculpture Wall that contains part of my Sculpture Garden.
Here you will find some of my larger outdoor ceramic sculptures with large eagles, totem poles, garden pots, bird baths, garden wizards, animals and other fun things.
The Path to a Studio and Gallery
Through my Sculpture Garden you come into my converted garage with beautiful sliding glass doors welcoming you into my sun-filled studio and gallery area.
On the left of the sliding door you will see my gallery area with all of my ceramic pieces, think: dragons, cups, owls, clay drums, centrepieces for the kitchen or altar, animals, bowls, dishes, and my multi-award winning ceramic jars.
There will also be my acrylic paintings on plywood of owls, eagles, swans and others hanging on the walls.
Art and the Temple of Balance
I am best known for the work I do through my online business: Temple of Balance.
A part of the support I offer through Temple of Balance focuses around my art, so on my Grand Opening you can also browse my self-created professional oracle cards decks, books, greeting cards, pendants and more.
Book Your Clay Play Fun
Reserve your spot online with Lee-Anne Peters Ceramics for the Clay Play program: Click here to book your place.
Clay Time Fun
During the open weekend you may also like to enjoy some ‘clay play’ time (limited spaces). For twenty bucks you can grab yourself a 200g lump of white earthenware clay and make whatever you like – I will have some ideas on display.
Children, young and old alike are welcome to join, however u/12 must be accompanied by an adult.
I will fire and glaze your piece ready for collection a few weeks later.
Sale Shopping Fun and a Devonshire Tea
During the weekend there will be a massive old stock and seconds sale!
You’re welcome to enjoy a cuppa and homemade fresh scones in the garden while we catch up.
Behind the Scenes Pottery Studio Experience
Call in briefly, or stay a few hours! I’ll be working on a new sculpture throughout the weekend. I look forward to meeting you.

Artist Profile Stories
I want there to be more arts and crafts in our world, in our communities and in our own lives. Hopefully you’ve found this blog post inspiring and interesting.
So I’m creating, with your help, Art Trails Tasmania, allowing all of us who feel this love to create more of it.
And the Art Trails Tasmania blog is a key part of making this happen, telling the stories of members. It’s about what they have happening with workshops and classes, exhibitions, open studio trails, where to find their outlets, markets, fairs and festivals so you can shop their creations as well as their art and craft retreats.
Also being shared are the supporters of our artists, the galleries, shops, cafes, art societies and groups, places to stay and artist in residencies.
