The Artist Profile Membership is specifically crafted to meet the needs of artists and artisans, crafters and makers, writers and composers, musicians and performers, designers and creators who are wanting to grow their profile and have links from their listing to their platforms.

Membership Benefits & Testimonials
Help to Grow Your Artist Profile
Getting your artist profile out into the world should be easy, but we’ve all struggled with being found by our ideal art lovers and supportive customers.
Art Trails Tasmania is all about showcasing the talented Tasmanian artists by telling their Artist Profile story and event news so you get to do more of what you love; create.
Being Listed in the What’s On Directory
All current members are featured in the What’s On directory, the number of pages depending on the level of membership.
For Artist Profile and Artists Ensemble members this also includes up to five links to your digital assets; this could include your website, blog, newsletter signup, Facebook and Instagram, Bluethumb and RedBubble stores.
Having ‘back links’ to your website helps Google give you a better ranking (SEO).
Telling Your Stories
The Artist Profile and event news stories are published on the blog and in select eBooks, promoted on Facebook and Instagram and in both the Members’ and general email newsletters.
Plus, our artists are given the featured image of their Artist Profile story for sharing – think website, blog, newsletter and socials.
Our Artist Profile members have one story option per year while the Artists Ensemble members have up to four story options per year.
You get to choose how you use your story options, whether that’s with an Artist Profile story or with Event News stories, e.g. for Artists Esemble members 1 x Artist Profile and 3 x event news.
The Artist Profile story can be used to showcase your business. So galleries, shops, cafes, event venues and organisers, trail committees, curators all have the option to demonstrate what they are offering to our supportive creative audience.
And this is all done online to keep life simple.
We Promote Your Events
Get more people along to your events. Have your events; your workshops, classes, open studio trails, exhibitions and openings promoted here on our blog, email newsletters, Facebook and Instagram so more people see what you’re doing and can get along to your event.
Belong to a Caring Creative Community
Be part of our growing creative community and enjoy the support that comes from having your social profiles shared and followed, skills sharing blog stories to strength creative business ownership muscles and receive the members only monthly email newsletter.
You also have access to members only resources content and special discounts for entering the Art Trails Tasmania Art Exhibition and the growing range of digital publications.
Be Featured in the “Crafting Your Own Creative Tasmanian Holiday Guide”
My goal is to support you with bringing more creative people to you, both at your events and online.
So all of our Artists Ensemble and Artist Profile members who are running events, exhibitions, workshops and classes, festivals, markets, fairs, art retreats, open studios, galleries, shops, artist residencies etc (one version or many) are welcome to be part of the popular Crafting Your Own Creative Tasmanian Holiday Guide.
How to Be Part of this Guide
This guide is updated regularly so all Artists Ensemble and Artist Profile members with current memberships who are running events can be featured in it.
Your listing will be based on the Blurb and links that you send through with signing up.
What You Need to Do
It is really important that your online presence is the best it can be for the visitors that we send you. So make it easy for people to find your information on your website, don’t make them hunt for it and miss out on this opportunity.

Be Featured in the Art eBook by Art Trails Tasmania Series
I believe it is a core part of Art Trails Tasmania’s role to help artists (read creative small businesses) to be able to build their Artist Profile. So I am launching the Art eBook series where a spotlight is shone on the inspiring members of Art Trails Tasmania.
8 Exciting Tasmanian Artists & their sources of inspiration eBook
The first of this series, 8 Exciting Tasmanian Artists & their sources of inspiration, is being shared with all of our Community email newsletter subscribers and is sent out as part of the four welcoming messages.
The series will be added to through out the year and made available online with announcements made here, on our socials and in the newsletters.
How to Be Part of this Series
My goal with each edition of this series is to create a balance between the featured members and their stories so the breadth of what is creativity is achieved.
So in the inaugural edition the balance includes an all abilities gallery, workshop and shop, and artists working in watercolour, clay, coloured pencils, mixed media, acrylic, textiles and botanical dying.
All current members who have a published story are up for consideration.
