An Exhibition About The Realms on Our Planet

This is a celebration of life.

There are many realms on our planet.

Come and enjoy a spell wandering in the cool glades of ‘Emerald Sanctuary’ a large oil on canvas 152cm x 115cm.

Or gaze into the distance of the ‘Shimmer on the Gordon’ river, another large oil on canvas 182cm x123cm.

Pause and admire the detail of ‘Tree of Life’ a timber sculpture with Huon pine, Leatherwood, King William pine and many other timbers.

There are nine elements.

A long time dream to have an exhibition with my dad has become a reality.

I’m certain too will find yourself having an emotional response to these works.

About the Exhibition Artists

Michaela has been painting again for just over 12 months after a long spell pursuing other interests, including furniture restoration.

Having success selling in a gallery in Salamanca place, Hobart and locally.

Christopher, a lifetime artist studied in the UK for seven years, majoring in art history and lead glass manufacture.

Michaela was raised in Tasmanian National Parks and Historic Sites, and enjoys capturing the serenity of those environments.

Christopher, a former senior Parks Ranger, has been a full time sculptor for over 30 years and enjoys the emergence of the hidden world within each piece of timber, he scrapes away the superfluous material to reveal what lays within, whether wombat or possum, mouse or whale.
