The Crafting Your Own Creative Tasmanian Holiday Guide is designed so it can easily be viewed on your phone, Mac, PC or tablet and has links that you can click.
If you do need to print it, you’ll find that I’ve avoided solid blocks of colour that soak up a lot of ink and it is designed to work well on recycled paper.

What You Won’t Find…
You won’t find perfectly polished corporate branding promising something “authentic” that has been produced in a shiny glass box.
This is an artist-led, grassroots community of real-life artists and makers.
We’re all figuring out our websites and social media as we go, doing our best, even if it’s a bit daunting at times!
I truly hope you find creative joy and inspiration in your explorations and connections with everyone featured here.

Welcome to Art Trails Tasmania
Art Trails Tasmania is an artist-led initiative created by me, Belinda Stinson. At its core, Art Trails Tasmania aims to support and empower artists, showcase their remarkable talents and activities, share their stories through Artist Profile and Event News blog posts, and gives you the delightful experience of crafting your own creative tour of Tasmania.
What better way to create joyful memories of your travels through Tasmania than by including artist-led workshops and retreats, exhibitions, gallery and co-operative visits, art trails, and festivals? That’s how you create the best holidays!
Our Art Trails Tasmania Community
We are a growing community of artists and artisans, makers and writers, crafters and designers, potters and stitchers, illustrators and curators who find endless inspiration from our beloved state of Tasmania. While most of our members are based in Tasmania, art lovers from across the country and beyond are also warmly welcomed to join us.
Living the Good Life
I envision a world filled with more arts and crafts, enriching our communities and our lives. It’s about allowing those of us who have a deep love for the arts and crafts to enjoy more of it in our daily lives, because it leads to a better life—a good life.
Heartfelt Thanks
This grassroots project exists solely due to the support of our members. So, it is with deep and heartfelt thanks to each and every one of our members, from across Australia— not just Tasmania—for stepping up and backing this initiative.
I started with the simple desire to bring more creativity into our daily lives by making it easier for arts and crafts lovers to find their tribe in Tasmania. Whether we’re travelling around this stunning state as visitors or making our homes across the varied landscapes of this isle, it always comes back to making authentic connections centred on creativity.
That’s exactly what this guide is about — making it easier to create these connections. But this guide could only come into being because creative souls like you decided to join and support my early endeavours. I hope you are as proud of this supportive community that we are building together as I am.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
